R69, with its art-filled corridors, Bauhaus bones, wrap-around panoramic views, and white-washed details has always been about cultivating a sense of place that physically breathes Tel Aviv’s most inspirational layers – in and out.
Our full-service residence offers seven artfully-designed rooms with all the conveniences and amenities of a hotel – in a completely exclusive setting.
Originally built in 1932 by Itzhak Margalit and designed by architect Itzhak Shwartz, the building depicts the International Style, with its wide balconies and big windows overlooking Rothschild Boulevard. Over the last decade, the building underwent an extensive redesign by the renowned architecture firm A N +, a collaborative practice run by Avital Gourary and Natanel Elfassy that embraces architecture, art, and philosophy.
R69’s central location is easily accessible from all parts of the city. Walk out the door and you’re planted in the heart of the historic White City, surrounded by some of the most iconic architectural Bauhaus buildings in the world. Strolling down Rothschild to the left takes you to Habima Square, a cultural institution and a landmark area for people-watching, coffee-lounging, protest-joining – and anything else going on at all hours of the day. Take a right down the boulevard and you’re surrounded by quaint coffee shops, chef’s restaurants, nightlife hotspots, and always moving, dynamic cityscapes.
